Kickers are offered instruction in the following areas:
- Field goals, extra points, kick-offs
- Kicking from a snap and hold
- Field goals from the hash
- Correct approach steps
- When to start the approach toward the kicking spot
- Kicking from a bad snap and questionable hold
- Learning how to communicate with the holder
- Minimize operation time without rushing the kicking motion
- Directional kicking
- On-side kicks
- Pooch kicks
- Improve hang time and distance on Kick-offs
- How to kick in difficult weather conditions
- Improving contact point with the football
Punters are offered instruction in the following areas:
· Hang time and distance
· Directional punting
· Correct way to catch a snap and drop the ball
· Punting with or against the wind
· Minimize operation time without rushing the punting motion
· Punting out of the end zone
· Effective stepping patterns
· Pooch Punting
Snappers are offered instruction in the following areas:
· Hand positioning
· Stance
· Improving snap speed
· Improving accuracy
· Improving flexibility
· Learn lace control so the laces face forward
Video Technology
Camp participants will be videotaped to evaluate each player and then taken to the field to show how to improve their strengths and correct their weaknesses.
Top Recruit Kicking utilizes the finest computer software technology to analyze each players punt, kick, or snap. The use of forward and reverse slow motion, split screens, and in-depth analysis is just one of the many benefits of attending the camp.
